Student Veteran & Military Center is located in J-301. You are welcome to use this
space to study, relax, or meet with others. There are computers, a printer, and a
coffee/tea/snack bar. There is a QR code on the door to sign-in to let us know you
visited. We hope you check out this great space that is just for our Veteran and military
affiliated students.

You can save time, money, and have the experience you gained through the military
recognized by receiving credit for your military training courses and service. You
may also be eligible to exempt some classes based on your military experience. Use

We want to support your overall well-being during your time at YTC. If you are struggling
with any mental health, emotional, or physical concerns, you have options.
You can establish accommodations to address the impacts of any diagnosed disabilities
(learning, physical, and/or psychological). Visit the following link for more information.
Free professional mental health counseling is available for all enrolled students.
You can schedule an initial appointment, available in-person (in Counseling, Accessibility,
and Support Services (CASS) in J Building), virtual, and by phone, through Navigate.

In addition to the counseling provided through YTC, you can access counseling and
other support services through the College’s Student Assistance Program (SAP). They
can be reached 24/7 to complete an initial intake to help you find the right Counselor
for you. If you are interested in meeting with a Counselor who specializes in working
with Veterans/military, be sure to share during your intake. You can receive three
free sessions with the possibility to continue with the use of TRICARE or other health
care benefits.
In addition to counseling, there are extensive resources available through the SAP,
including legal and financial ones. To explore the site, you can access directly through

You can also join a support group, including one for Veterans. To learn more about
