Program Spotlights and Open House

This fall, York Technical College is doing something different. The College is hosting three incredible events, highlighting each division and the programs we offer. All spotlights will take place on our Rock Hill campus at 452 S. Anderson Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730. Attendees will take a deep dive into their programs of interest, speaking directly with experienced faculty.

In November, York Technical College will host its Chester Center Open House. The Chester Center offers the same high-quality education at a convenient Chester County location. The center is home to some of our most popular programs, like Utility Line Worker, Licensed Practical Nursing, and Welding. It also offers strong partnerships with Chester County School District, allowing high school students to get ahead by taking classes at YTC.

Business, Computer, Arts, and Sciences (BCAS) Spotlight - October 16th

Our associate of arts and science programs are perfect for students who want to earn their first two years of credits at a low cost before transferring to a university to earn their bachelor's degree. Not only do we offer the lowest price in the region for classes, but we also have strong transfer pathways, ensuring your credits transfer seamlessly to your university.

In addition to associate of arts and sciences, our BCAS division offers stellar programs in cybersecurity, digital arts, accounting, paralegal, business entrepreneurship, theatre production, and more!

Health and Human Services (HHS) Spotlight - October 23rd

In addition to nursing, we offer impactful programs in Medical Laboratory Technology, Surgical Technology, Criminal Justice, Exercise Science, Early Care and Education, and more! If health is your passion, this is the event for you.

Industrial and Engineering Technologies (IET) Spotlight - October 30th

Workforce and Economic Development (WED) Spotlight - October 30th

First, programs in our Industrial and Engineering Technology Division include crucial roles within industry, like Welding, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Engineering, and more.

The Workforce and Economic Development Division specializes in short-term credentials across all areas of the job market to include business, computers, healthcare, industrial trades, transportation, and more. The division also offers standard and customizable corporate training like OSHA, Lean Six Sigma, Leadership training, etc.

Chester Center Open House - November 13th

Come visit the Chester Center on Thursday, November 13th from 4 p.m to 6 p.m.! Our prime location in Chester County offers the same great education right in your backyard. Enjoy the perks of being a York Technical College student at a location convenient to you. Prospective students who attend will receive a free meal, with the first 100 students receiving prizes! Students who complete an application will be entered to win a grand prize.

The Chester Center is located at 525 College Place, Chester, SC 29706.
