Presidential Scholars Honors Program

Presidential Scholars Honors (PS) is an enhanced academic program for high-achieving, technical and university-bound first-time freshmen beginning their studies at York Tech. Scholars receive a variety of exclusive benefits such as:

• Full coverage for tuition and course materials
• Exclusive leadership and volunteer opportunities
• Designated faculty mentors
• Dedicated academic advisors

To be eligible for the Presidential Scholars Honors Program, students must qualify for the Life Scholarship (final high school GPA of 3.0 or higher) with course placement into college-level English and math.

We are recruiting for the 2026 - 2027 academic year. We encourage potential applicants to complete the Presidential Scholars Interest Form below.

Steps to Apply:

1. Complete the First-time Freshmen admissions application https://www.yorktech.edu/apply/.
2. Submit your final high school transcript (3.0 or higher GPA is required).
3. Submit your application to the PS Honors program.
4. An interview will be scheduled with the PS Selection Team for eligible applicants.
