York Tech Literary Magazine Wins Awards for Second Year in a Row
For the second year in a row, York Technical College's literary magazine, Titan's Muse, won multiple awards at the Community College Humanities Association's Literary Magazine
Competition. This competition highlights student work from across the country and
develops students within the Humanities.
Awards are divided into regions, with only one magazine earning first place at the national level. This year, Titan's Muse was named THE BEST literary magazine in the USA!
Magazine awards are listed below:
- 1st Place - Best Magazine (National level award)
- 1st Place - Best Magazine Southern Division (Regional level award)

In addition to general awards for the magazine, three students also received recognition for their work. Winners are listed below:
- Samantha Tuthill - 1st Place for Best Poetry in the Southern Division
- MJ Starcher (left) - 2nd Place for Best Poetry in the Southern Division
- Parker Williamson (right) - 1st Place for Best Essay in the Southern Division
