A Note to students: NSO dates open one month prior to the session date. Students who
have registered for the upcoming term will receive a personalized invitation to NSO.
After NSO, be sure to visit our Start Strong webpage which serves as a hub for all resources an incoming student may need. We encourage you to review the information to make sure you're ready for your first day.
Orientation is strongly recommended—even though it’s not required. NSO gives you a head start and helps you navigate your first semester with confidence. It’s also a great time to ask questions and get help with any challenges you’re facing.
Once you register for classes, you'll receive an email invitation with registration details. In-person sessions are encouraged; an online version is available if you're unable to attend on campus. Please email nso@yorktech.edu for online orientation instructions.
You’ll connect with a variety of people ready to support your journey:
