York Technical College Announces Update In Tuition Funding
York Technical College has a longstanding commitment to making education accessible for all students. Through initiatives such as the No Cost Tuition program, generously supported by the State of South Carolina and the York Technical College Foundation, countless students have been able to reach their academic and career goals without financial strain and the burden of debt.
York Technical College is excited to continue offering scholarships, grants, and other funding that give students the opportunity to graduate debt-free. While Summer 2024 is the last term for the No Cost Tuition program, our dedication to providing an education at little to no cost remains. In addition to scholarships and grants offered through the Office of Financial Aid and the York Technical College Foundation, we are excited to announce that students enrolled in qualifying career and technical programs are eligible to receive up to $5,000 in tuition and course instructional fees per academic year through the South Carolina Workforce Industry Needs Scholarship (SC WINS).
Through these various funding opportunities, a no-cost education is still possible for most of our students. We strongly encourage students to apply for scholarships and complete their FAFSA early to maximize financial aid packages. The Fall 2024 semester registration opens on March 25th, with scholarship applications opening on May 20th.
