York Technical College Celebrates Class of 2026 During 61st Commencement Ceremony

Two York Tech students smile and fist bump after walking the stageYork Technical College celebrated its graduates’ accomplishments during the College’s 61st Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 15, recognizing students whose success reflects the strength, diversity, and determination of the communities the College serves.

During the 2025-26 academic year, York Technical College recognized 927 graduates who collectively earned 1,307 degrees, diplomas, and certificates, underscoring the College’s role in preparing a highly skilled regional workforce. Many graduates earned multiple credentials, enabling them to enter the workforce with specialized skills and expanded career opportunities. 

York Technical College maintains a 93% graduate placement rate, preparing students to enter the workforce or continue their education in high-demand fields.

The College celebrated a record-breaking spring for dual enrollment graduates, with 212 students earning a combined 252 college credentials while still enrolled in high school. This milestone highlights the continued success of partnerships between York Technical College and local school districts across the region.

“Our graduates are proof that opportunity, determination and education can transform lives,” said Dr. Stacey Moore, president of York Technical College. “This class includes students just beginning their journey and others who chose to return to the classroom later in life, all united by a desire to pursue meaningful careers and create better futures for themselves and their families. We are honored to celebrate their achievements.”

This year’s graduating class ranged in age from 16 to 61, demonstrating York Technical College’s commitment to providing accessible, flexible education to learners at every stage of life.

Several academic programs also achieved historic milestones this spring:

  • The Nursing program graduated the largest class in its history, with 84 graduates.
  • The Radiologic Technology program graduated the largest class in its history, with 24 graduates.
  • The Medical Laboratory Technology program has maintained a 100% graduate placement rate since 2013.


Graduates completed programs spanning healthcare, advanced manufacturing, business, information technology, industrial and engineering technologies, public service, and skilled trades, helping address workforce needs throughout York, Chester, and Lancaster counties.
