Emergency Alerts
Stay informed with important safety notifications from York Technical College. YTC uses Regroup to send alerts to students, employees, and others who choose to receive them. Choose the option below that best describes your connection to the College.
Students and Employees
Students and employees are automatically enrolled in YTC Alerts. Keeping your contact information current helps ensure alerts reach the right phone numbers and email addresses.
Students
For assistance updating the contact information used for alerts, complete the Student Information Update Request and send it to the Registrar's Office.
Employees
Update your contact information through Ellucian Self-Service. These updates feed into the College’s alert system. For assistance, visit the Employee Portal “Updating your contact and emergency contact” under the Human Resources section.
Child Development Center Families
The Child Development Center maintains a separate alert group for CDC families. Contact the Center for assistance with enrollment or changes to your contact information.
Community Members
You do not need to be a student or employee to receive YTC Alerts. Community members can enroll to stay informed about the College. You can also update your contact information or request removal from the public alert group.
Visitors and Short-Term Guests
Visiting campus for an event, training, or another activity? Temporary enrollment allows you to receive alerts during your visit. Select a stop date when enrolling so your temporary alert enrollment ends when you no longer need it.
