Earn Credit for Completed Internships and Apprenticeships

Students may be eligible to receive academic credit after the completion of an approved internship or apprenticeship through the submission of a portfolio that documents learning and provides evidence of the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired. Internships 

Internships are short-term experiences intended to help you gain valuable insight into your future industry, taking place at the employer's site. Through your role as an intern, you'll get a first-hand look at the day-to-day tasks and culture within your employer's company.

Apprenticeships 

Apprenticeships are long-term experiences intended to lead to full-time employment. Much like internships, apprenticeships allow you to establish professional bonds and mentorships with experts in your future field while participating in a contextual learning experience. However, apprenticeships provide you with a paid, outlined educational and mentored opportunity. In addition to the experience you will gain, participants receive a nationally recognized credential from the Department of Labor upon completion of the apprenticeship program.
