Students who enter the College must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, or be eighteen years of age or older.
If your high school GPA was a 3.0 or higher, and you have graduated within the past five years, you will not be required to take the Accuplacer placement test. Furthermore, Accuplacer placement testing is not required if you have the following SAT and/or ACT scores less than 5 years old:
SAT: (Taken before March 2016): Critical Reading: 480 Math: 540 (Taken March 2016 to Present): Evidence Based Reading and Writing: 480 Math: 570
ACT: English - 21 Math - 23
The Admissions Office uses these scores as guidelines in the student acceptance process.
Within budget, space, and personnel limitations, applicants not meeting curriculum placement criteria shall be, at their discretion, placed in an appropriate program of developmental study.
