Student Support
The Institute for Teaching Excellence provides student support through training sessions, tutorials, and videos related to D2L navigation, the York Tech provided Office365 accounts for students including Outlook email, Word, and PowerPoint.
Many student questions are answered by visiting the “HELP” page in D2L. The “help” button is located on the top toolbar upon logging into a students’ YTC D2L account.

Ally - This tool allows you to convert files from D2L courses into various formats to make viewing easier and match your preferred learning methods including conversion to an audio MP3 file, a searchable PDF file, an ePub for mobile devices, electronic braille, and a Beeline Reader. The Beeline reader provides different coloration to make screen reading easier.
