Getting Started

Important: Before an individual can receive services provided by the Workforce Development Center under the Intensive Services and Training Program, the individual must complete Core Services.

Core Services 

Core Services are provided by the local Employment Security Commission One-Stop Workforce Centers in Chester, Lancaster, and York Counties.

Core Services provide access to a range of self-service activities and WIA certification.

Available services:

• Initial assessment of skills and needs

• Employability skills workshops

• Resume/application preparation

• Information on job vacancies

• Labor market information

• Job placement assistance

• Career and skill assessment

• Interviewing

• WIA certification

• Referral to Intensive Services and Training Program

A participant must be referred from Core Services before entering Intensive Services.
