Anne Springs Close Library
The Anne Springs Close Library provides access to a variety of resources to meet the information needs of students, faculty, and staff. Many students may be unfamiliar with conducting academic research online. Library professionals are available to help students with their research and aid in navigating the library at York Technical College so that students are able to make full use of the information resources offered.

Patron Services
Anne Springs Close Library houses books, audio books, and DVDs
that can be checked out by all library patrons. Library staff
members are available to guide you through searching the catalog,
finding items on the shelf, and helping you check something out.
We also have a substantial Reference Collection to be used in
the library and a non-circulating AV collection that can be viewed
in one of our comfortable group study rooms (County Rooms.)
In addition to our group study rooms, we have amble study carrells
located all around the library. Looking for something a little more
comfortable, how about a comfy chair, bean bag, or couch?
Not sure where to start? You can schedule an appointment with one of
your librarians to work with you or your group to help you get on
the right track. If you would rather work it out yourself, check out
the available tutorials.
Need a Textbook, citation guide,
career information? They are all available in our new expanded Ready
Reference Center which also includes our Creative Writing Corner.
Can't find what you need? Ask the library staff for help using
Interlibrary Loan services. We can help Faculty, Staff, and Students
to borrow materials from other libraries. Or ask if we can purchase
what you need. We are always willing to take your suggestions of
topics, authors, and titles you thing would be helpful in the
library.
We also have a self serve copier located at the back
of the library. Make sure you bring change! Need to use a computer?
We have 18 for your use. Printing and copying are both 10 cents per
page. We do not accept anything larger then a $5 bill so come
prepared.
Not a York Tech Student? No problem, we are open to
the community including High School students. If you are a resident
of York, Lancaster, or Chester Counties, ask for a community user
card so you can use our materials and facilities, just remember to
bring your State ID, Drivers Licence, or School ID.
Faculty
In addition to all of the services listed below, find the library forms you need to request Academic Reserve, instruction for your class, Individual research help for yourself or your students, or suggestions and requests for materials to be included in the library collection.
Test Preparation
Between Learning Express and Testing and Education Reference Center you can find help to study for anything from entrance exams to career certification exams. You can even go through a self-paced class to learn how to use common data processing tools. Both products come with both eBooks and Test Preparation Exams allowing you to practice until you are ready. Sign up for your own account and start studying today.
