Pulp/Paper Processing Program

The Pulp and Paper Processing program teaches the fundamentals of pulp and paper making. This program is offered through a partnership with Abitibi-Bowater. While most course work is offered on-campus, students have many opportunities to learn papermaking first-hand, at the Abitibi-Bowater mill

As part of the partnership, Abitibi-Bowater supports a scholarship program that pays tuition, books, and fees for up to 10 students. The scholarship also includes a paid internship at the mill. For more information about the program and the scholarship, please contact Dr. Marc Tarplee, (803) 327-8017, mtarplee@yorktech.com
