ROCK HILL—On
Tuesday, September 16, the Entrepreneur Network will continue its
series of events aimed at helping small business owners and potential
entrepreneurs succeed by sponsoring a
seminar focusing on marketing challenges. The event will be held from 6
p.m. until 8 p.m. at the City Club in downtown Rock Hill.
The event is free, but
registration is required.
Local marketing professionals will discuss different aspects of
marketing, including web marketing strategies and techniques, the
secrets of print advertising, and the singular power of design. Speakers
will include Tamara LaValla, co-owner of LaValla Maddox; Bill Henson,
publisher of YC Magazine, and Jason Broadwater, executive manager
and marketing director of RevenFlo Web Marketing.
The evening will also include a
question-and-answer session as well as time for participants to network
and share ideas with like-minded professionals.
The Entrepreneur Network was established to bring entrepreneurs together
to network and support one another and engage in educational
opportunities. York Technical College has hosted Entrepreneur
Network events since November 2007. Entrepreneur Network events are free and open to anyone
starting or running a small business, as well as those considering the
possibility of starting a business. The six area Chambers of Commerce
and several business networking groups have been instrumental in
spreading the word about these opportunities to their members and
beyond.
