ROCK HILL—York
Technical College will host An Evening with David Rawlinson
II on Monday, July 28. Rawlinson will speak on the topic of
"Your Role in Unprecedented Times." The free event, sponsored by
York Technical College Student Activities, is open to the public
and begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Baxter Hood Center.
Rawlinson recently
received a nonpartisan, one-year appointment as a White House
Fellow by President George W. Bush. A Northwestern High School
graduate, Rawlinson received his B.A. in Political Science from
The Citadel, a Juris Doctor from the University of South
Carolina and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He practiced
law for five years in international law firms and was appointed
in 1997 by the President to the White House Conference on Youth,
Drugs, and Violence.
