CLEP
General Information
Computer-based CLEP examinations are administered at York Technical College in the Assessment Center, which is located in A203. Candidates can take a computer-based CLEP examination at one of the designated appointment times and immediately receive their scores upon completion of the exam. The CLEP FEE IS NONREFUNDABLE AND CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER ADMINISTRATION DATE. Appointment Times
Computer-based CLEP examinations are offered by appointment only on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Appointment times are 8:30AM, 10:30AM, 12:30PM, 3:00PM, and 6:00PM. Friday and Saturday time is 10:30. (Please note that appointments are not available during the last week of each semester.)
NOTE: If you have a disability that prevents you from testing under standard conditions, please contact the Assessment Center at 981-7176.

How to Register
To register in person: Go to the Business office in the Student Services building and pay the CLEP test fee. Bring your receipt to the Assessment Center (A203) to schedule the date and time you would like to take the exam.
To register by mail: Mail the fee (payable by check or money order to York Technical College) to Business Office - CLEP, York Technical College,452 S. Anderson Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29730. Next, call us at (803) 981-7176 to schedule an appointment time.
Where to Report on Test Day
Report to A203 at the time for which you registered. Testing will begin promptly at your designated appointment time.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you may not be allowed to take the exam and you will forfeit
your test fee. You will have to reschedule your appointment and pay an additional test fee.
You must bring two forms of identification and your receipt for admittance
to the test center. For information about the required IDs, go to
