We want you to be successful!

As a new college student (first-time freshman-never attended college), you will begin your educational experience in the START Center, a center designed to assist you through orientation to the College, advising and registering for classes.  Each START Center advisor is eager to help you make your first semester at York Technical College a success!

We would like to encourage you to stop by the START Center any time during your first semester to find answers to your questions or to discuss concerns that you have about your program of study.  If we cannot help you, we will direct you to the appropriate person or department.

Your START Center advisor will answer questions that you may have about your placement test scores, course offerings, program requirements, course prerequisites, and more.
