Step
1:
Meet with your
academic advisor at
your institution to determine if the courses
taken at York
Technical College will transfer to your college or university. Only your
institution
can approve transferability of courses.
Step
2:
Complete
and submit a York Technical College application for
admission.
A
new application is required for all students who have not
attended York Technical College within the past two semesters.
Step
3:
Contact
Admissions at 803-327-8008 or 1-800-922-8324
to
be accepted to the college as a summer student.
Step 4:
Submit documentation which satisfies the prerequisite(s) for the
course(s) in which you wish to enroll. Students who have
been accepted for the summer term and have submitted an SAT
Verbal (CR) score of at least 480 or an ACT English score of 21 will
be eligible to register for the following courses on-line in
Campus Cruiser beginning midnight on April 14, 2008 for:
BIO 210, CPT
101, ECO 210, ECO 211, ENG 101, HIS 101, HIS 102 HIS 201, HIS
202, MUS
105, PSC 201, PSC 215, PSY 201, PSY 203, PSY 212, SOC 101, SOC
102, SOC 205, SPA
101, SPC 205, THE 101
Prerequisites
for other university transfer courses, such as math and
accounting, include satisfactory completion of college courses.
Required
prerequisites for all courses are specified in the Course
Descriptions section of our
Catalog and Handbook.

5:
Register
(See the Credit Class Schedule for course times and
section numbers).

SATISFACTION OF PREREQUISITES.
