The 16 Career Clusters and Related Programs of Study
at York Technical College

Career Clusters provide a way for schools to organize instruction and student experiences around sixteen broad categories that encompass virtually all occupations from entry through professional levels. Resources such as KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS STRUCTURES and BROCHURES are available for each of the sixteen clusters. Click on the cluster icon for access to resources.

The York Technical College degrees, diplomas, and certificates listed below the cluster descriptions are designed to offer graduates marketable job skills to enter the work force. They are not designed for transfer to a four-year institution. There are many occupations that would fall under the career clusters listed below that require at least a four-year degree. Students desiring to transfer to a four-year institution should major in Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, or Engineering Transfer at York Technical College.
