5 steps

 Applying for Admission

Full-time and Part-time Students

Step 1: 
Apply for Admission to York Technical College. You may do so in person or
online.

Step 2:  
Apply for Financial Aid, online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
.  All students must complete this step to be eligible for lottery tuition assistance. 

Step 3:
Take the
Placement Test.  Students who have taken the SAT or ACT or have attended college previously, should contact 
Admissions at (803) 327-8008 or 1-800-922-8324 to determine if the placement test is necessary.

Step 4:   
Review your test results with an Admissions Counselor and be
admitted to the College.  

Admissions Office Hours
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 7:00pm
Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm (Summer)
          8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Fall/Spring)
