Stacy's'  Story

“Being the biology lab coordinator at York Tech has been a lot of fun,” Stacy Herbert comments.  After working for awhile, Herbert decided to return to York Tech where she is majoring in Biology.  “Mr. McGill and Mr. Romein offer their students such interesting experiences, and I found myself getting all wrapped up in biology.  I love the subject.”

Following graduation at York Tech, Herbert plans to begin classes at Winthrop.  “Meantime, I’m teaching my daughter, Jasmine, who is four, all the basics.  I want her to know her numbers and letters when she starts kindergarten.

Her long-term goal is to attend graduate school and teach college-level biology.
