Greetings,
For over 47 years, York Technical College has worked to support economic development in Chester, Lancaster and York Counties. We exist to help you achieve success for yourself, your family, and your community. We strive to provide you the best possible support system for meeting your needs as they relate to our mission of improving lives through education and training. We are proud of the work we have accomplished to attract new businesses, expand jobs, and help people find the right occupational fit for their lives.
Some important points to note about York Tech:
- We offer 89 different programs of study.
- We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
- We provide career counseling, internships, and placement services.
- We enrolled 8,643 credit and over 7,000 non-credit students last year.
The College's main goal is to Maximize Student Success. We consistently evaluate our processes as a means to discover new approaches for engaging students. We ask for your help and partnership toward this end. If you are a prospective student, we will work with you to find the best career fit for your future, set a completion goal, and put together a plan to get you there. If you are a current student, we will work with you to recommit to your goal and help you be successful. If you are a community member, employer, friend or family of a student or prospective student, please be an investor in success. Let our students know that you have high expectations for their success and that you are there to provide the support they need to achieve their goals.
