Welcome
The mission of York Technical College's Financial Aid Office
is to provide quality assistance to all students and to make
every effort to insure students who desire to attend the
College, but cannot afford to do so, are provided financial
resource assistance to complete their educational goals. The
types of aid available include grants, scholarships, loans, a
tuition payment plan, part-time employment, and veterans'

Federal regulations require a student to complete their program of study within the maximum timeframe of 150%.
Find each program’s required hours and the maximum timeframe
here. Once a student has attempted the maximum
of 150%, the student is no longer eligible for financial assistance.

Our Financial Aid Counselors are available to answer questions, provide advice and give information relating to financial assistance.
An appointment is not required, but available if you would like. You may call our office at 803-327-8005 to set up an appointment. If you prefer to walk-in for assistance, our office hours are Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (except 8 am - 3 p.m. on Friday during the months of May-August).
