Welcome to York Technical College's Energy and Environmental Program, where faculty, students
and business partners are making more informed decisions and taking an active role in putting
sustainable practices into place. YTC has a long-standing commitment to being a good steward
of our community and is continuing to make responsible decisions to protect and preserve the
environment around us.
Adopting environmentally sound business practices is a critical strategy for YTC. We've made a
strong statement with a number of environmentally friendly initiatives on campus and hope to build
on that progress to establish a more formal approach to meet our commitment of 20% energy
